Every baby loves freedom. The freedom to move around with their whole body and discover the world. It starts with rolling over and before you know it, your child will scoot all over the place on their tummy. We took this into consideration, the floor is nice and soft. Linoleum is cold, slippery and hard, we don’t want this for our children. Carpet is warm and provides children with traction to scoot forward.
Toddlers and preschoolers often play on the floor also. Romping around or laying on their tummy to play with cars. The soft carpet is inviting. The carpet also gives our space a cozy feeling, also important!
